Pritch & Adams Epic Triathlon Challenge

Shooting The Documentary

Here’s the official documentary we filmed and edited for brothers Pritch and Adam. We were asked at the very last minute if we’d be interested in filming this crazy triathlon challenge they had planned to raise money for Tŷ Hafan children’s hospice. We love a challenge and immediately jumped at the chance. With no real budget or idea of what were in for, we took everything we had in the office and hoped for the best.

The triathlon consisted of a 10.5 mile swim of Lake Windermere followed by an overnight 250 mile bike ride from the Lake District to Chepstow, finishing the grueling race with a full 26 mile marathon back home to Cardiff. We filmed the entire film on a 550d, 600d and a GoPro. The amazing RØDE Video Mic Pro took care of all the audio and did an amazing job considering the amount of varying conditions we used it in.

We’re really happy with the results and there’s a lot of thanks due to everyone involved in the project. A special mention to our good friend Warren Peace Pitt for shooting all of the in water and on boat footage along with a ton of other great B roll. This was a tough project but we loved every second of it. Would love to shoot more ‘Extreme Challenges’ like this in the future 😀
